Thanks, Kim, this is so helpful. Trying to piece together my parents' lives during and after the partition of India without much in the way of records is pretty challenging.

I've been thinking about objects a lot for my memoir+ and how they help me tell the story and help me access my own past that I may have forgotten or my never retrieve (and that too says something).
